Pool Rental Information
The Huntington Hills Recreation Club (HHRC) is available for rent to active members in good standing. Pool rental is restricted to Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Rental agreements are available at the pool office starting on opening day. Scheduling is handled at the pool office and must be done with a pool manager or HHRC trustee. Requests cannot be made via email and cannot be submitted with the membership application. Rental agreements are subject to trustee approval and subject to the availability of the pool and lifeguard/management staff. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a rental agreement. Pool Rental Fee: $50.00 per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours. The pool rental fee is due in full at the time of the rental agreement. Check or cash required for rental fee (credit card not accepted).
Lifeguard/Management Fee: Leasee must hire a minimum of 2 lifeguards and may be required to hire up to 4 lifeguards depending on party size. A manager/assistant manager will be required for large parties. Lifeguards and management must be paid directly and separately at the start of the event at the rates listed below. Depending on the availability of guards, a member of management might be assigned to your party, regardless of party size.
1-50 attendees (total needs to include swimmers and non-swimmers):
- 2 hours: 2 lifeguards: (2 x $35) = $70 + pool rental fee
- 3 hours: 2 lifeguards: (2 x $55) = $110 + pool rental fee
51-100 attendees (total needs to include swimmers and non-swimmers):
- 2 hours: 2 lifeguards + 1 Mgr: (2 x $35) + ($45) = $115 + pool rental fee
- 3 hours: 2 lifeguards + 1 Mgr: (2 x $55) + ($70) = $180 + pool rental fee
101-150 attendees (total needs to include swimmers and non-swimmers):
- 2 hours: 3 lifeguards + 1 Mgr: (3 x $35) + ($45) = $150 + pool rental fee
- 3 hours: 3 lifeguards + 1 Mgr: (3 x $55) + ($70) = $235 + pool rental fee
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Refunds will be made in full if the rental is cancelled with a full 7-day notice. Cancellations made without a full 7-day notice will be charged a one-hour pool rental fee (50.00). Cancellations made with less than a 48-hour notice will be charged the full length of the pool rental. Additionally, all cancellations made without a full 7-day notice are required to remit payment to the lifeguards/management for the FULL length of the rental agreement.
Inclement Weather Policy: If the HHRC needs to cancel the rental prior to the event due to inclement weather, the pool rental fee will be refunded in full. If the HHRC needs to cancel the event due to inclement weather after the event has begun, the remaining balance of the pool rental hours will be refunded. The lifeguards/management must be paid for the time they have worked, rounding to the nearest full hour. Cancellations due to inclement weather are at HHRC's discretion.
Pool Rental Policies:
- All HHRC's general rules and regulations apply. HHRC reserves the right to eject attendees who violate the general rules and regulations and/or the pool rental policies. HHRC reserves the right to revoke memberships if any attendee is in violation of HHRC's general rules and regulations and/or the pool rental policies during a pool rental event.
- Parties with attendees under 18 years of age must be adequately chaperoned.
- Parties that intend to serve alcoholic beverages must disclose this on the rental agreement so staff is assigned appropriately. Underage drinking is strictly prohibited.
- Leasee agrees to leave all grounds in an orderly and clean state. Leasee is responsible for all damage to HHRC's property.
- Music played during a private event must adhere to the pool policy regarding inappropriate language being prohibited.
- Members/memberships must wait 2 weeks between submitting each rental application if planning to submit multiple rental agreements.
- Members/memberships can only submit one rental agreement at a time. Multiple agreements cannot be submitted in different members'/membership names.
- A member cannot fill out an agreement for another member.
